Despite George's best efforts to rid himself of the curse of the burps, those magical and pesky belches are still following him everywhere he goes - even on his class trip to the science museum. If circulating through a human heart or sliding down the nostril of a giant nose sound wild, just wait until the burps attack! The sixth book in the George Brown, Class Clown series promises young readers, boys and girls alike, a whole lot of laughs.

Gr 1-3-"You will not burp, you will not burp." George has been listening to the recording all night on his MP3 player. Has his pal Alex's idea cured him of the super burps? By breakfast time, the belches are back and dishes are broken and orange juice is everywhere. Earlier in the year, anxious about making friends the right way at his new school, George wished on a shooting star: "I want to make kids laugh-but not get into trouble." Unfortunately, the star disappeared before he got to the second part of his wish. Now George just makes kids laugh with his mischief-causing, unexplainable super burps. In this humorous tale (Grosset, 2011), George's troublesome belches hit him in the middle of the science museum's five senses room. First he invents a dance called the "Booger Boogie," and then he gets stuck in a giant nostril. Jonathon Todd Ross's narration is evenly paced and he provides an easily distinguishable voice for each character. His portrayal of George's army dad is a bit stern. George's heart is in the right place, and kids will enjoy his escapades.-"Jane Newschwander, Fluvanna County Public Schools, VA"
